Glaslough-Harries-Logo-01Glaslough Harriers was founded in 1945 and is still running strong in 2016. Glaslough Harriers is based in a quiet village of Monaghan. Glaslough has been an integral part of life for many young athletes from Glaslough, Emyvale and all surrounding areas. The club has grown significantly and now has many athletes competing from many different ages in many different events. We now have our own dedicated sports and training facility in Emyvale which will be ready for full time use in 2016. We actively encourage people to get involved and with our long history we have built up many strong relationships and friendships along the way. The objective of Glaslough Harriers Athletic Club is to promote athletics in Glaslough and the surrounding area. It operates in a safe, caring, friendly and fun loving environment and endeavours to provide the necessary coaching expertise required to enable young athletes of all abilities to reach their full potential. It lays special emphasis on fair play and sportsmanship and actively encourages the development of such attributes as team work and leadership.
